Volunteer

We are always looking for Volunteers to help with the day to day running of the rescue. Please read the qualifications and requirements below. If you are interested, please send us an email by filling out the information below.

Volunteer Qualifications:

• Nobody underage (less than 16) unless their parent stays with them at the rescue to supervise.

• Respect and kindness to each other as well as the animals.

• Following our Policies and Procedures.

• Take direction and be a team player.

Requirements:

Clerical Support:

Assist in updating and organizing paperwork such as Adoption Applications, microchip information, animal bios and general information update. Computer knowledge is an asset.

Kennel Cleaner:

Assist in cleaning kennels, feeding and watering animals throughout the day.

Cat Handler:

Spend quality time with the cats. Groom, play and exercising the cats. Assist with scooping litter box and tidy up the cat enclosures.

Dog Handler:

Spend quality time with the dogs. Groom, play and walk the dogs. Assist with kennel clean up and teach general obedience focusing on good manners.

Event Support:

Dedicated volunteers committed to help plan, organize and participate in Fundraising and community events.
